I chose the Elusive Giant Panda. They are up to 275 pounds. And if they are not sleeping they are eating. It is so cool. I would like to see a Giant Panda. Sometimes the young live with their mother until they are 18 months.
I also chose the Annual Tidal wave. There was a thousand people come to see the tidal wave. This year this one the tidal wave injured 30 people. Luckily there was no one killed. I would not like to see the annual tidal wave.
I also chose the Giant Fish big trouble in china. World biggest fish is the Chinese Sturgeon. And can weigh about 1000 pounds. And can grow to about 16 feet. The fish has become endangered.

Giant Pandas
Giant pandas are rare.
They eat alot of bamboo. Up to 40 pounds of it a day. Since they are so rare not very many pictures can be tooken. They are one of the rarest species in the world.
Terracota warriors
Terracota warriors were protectors of an ancient king.
Archaeology is ancient history. Louis Mazzatenta is an Archaeologist. He unearthed the Terracotta warriors.
China is doing a surgery called bone streching. It is very expensive. It is very painful. Legs can be permanently damaged. They remove a part of the leg and then let the bone grow back. It helps you be taller than you normally would be.
I watched Bee Therapy. I chose this because I hate bees so I thought it would be interesting to see what they were doing with the bees. It was sick. It was about the people in China who are purposley getting stung by bees. They are thinking that it makes you look younger. And some people think it is somewhat like a medacine. I also watched Bone Streching. I chose this one because Mrs. Nanna said it was really good. I is for people and you go and get your legs stretched. It was so disturbing. I had to change to a different video. I hate that they don't even put you to sleep. The last thing I watched was Giant Fish Faces. I chose to watch this because I hate most the animals they talked about but that is what makes it interesting.
Desert
Sandstorms have been really dangerous for the place and people of Bejjing. Most people there have to where mouth masks so they don't get sick. There is usually one sand storm every year. Most of the place si sand dunes. Most planes that want to land there can but can't go back out because it would be way to dangerous.
Bone Strecthing
Most people in china thought that being tall is most everything of power. They think it awesome to be tall. I think that it is very weird. Now they think it is beauty is most everything. Still most people think that it is most awesome to be big. Some people want to become tall to much, they take an appiontment to stretch their bones so they are taller. If you aren't tall in china, you may not be able to get a job, most people won't like you, and you will be out of the dating process.
Giant Pandas!!
Most of the the panda's go to zoos, because people love to see them. It is one of the animals that mostly stay in capticity. They love to sleep. If you see a giant panda, you would be very lucky, because it is very rare. What's really rare is if you catch it on tape or on a picture. What's even more rare then that is if you catch on tape while it's giving birth, and hearing a baby panda. You know what's even more important, there is no luck for a panda anymore.:D

Desert: There is a lot of desert areas in China.They have some profesers testing the desert areas.
Giant Pandas: Giant Pandas spend fourteen hours a day EATING!!! That is a long time to spend eating. They rub their sent on trees and then other pandas can tell hows around and if they want to mate. Pandas eat tons of bamboo. At certin times of the year they eat the leaves. At others they eat the steams. They spend time in their den craddeling their young. Then when the babies are old enough to take care of themselves, zoo keepers take care of them and protect them from protures.
Annual Wave: Every year there is an annual tide'o wave. Usually it is a normal year. This year is not a normal year. The waves are up to NINE FEET TALL!! And they usually come fast.
the first movie i watched was about thiese giant fish in china. they can grow up to 5 meters long! they are be coming extinct due to fishing and dams.

This year more than 4000 sq miles got burned up. in Kanya the tree became a sybol to symbolze what they can do.
Pandas are being forced to move because of the shortage of bamboo. hundrends of pandas could die becouse of the shortage of bamboo. the yangtze river is the longest river in asia. Many fish have become extinct or threatend terribly.

I think That the bone streching was really gross. It looked wierd to think that people actually want to get their bones streched. I think the panda bear one was the best. The baby panda bear was really cute but they are really noisy. The Annual Wave would be scary to be in because you wouldn't know if you were going to drowned or not. It would be really hard to out run. I wonder if they want to be scared to drown or if they want to try to run away from the wave. I would not want to even go near it. I would be to scared if it washed me away. I would never in my life go near it. The sand storms would also be scary. I would hope i would never breath it in or be there when it happened. I would hate if it happened in utah. But i don't think it will happen. I really enjoed the china videos.
BIG FISH
The movie was prety interesting on the chinees stergon. ITS A BIG FISH !!! it ways over 1 half a of a ton thats heavy !!! its about 60 feet LONG !!!! AMAZING it was a way Cool movy I enjoyed it so much I watched itn like three times!!!. it even showed what it looks like its tale freezes up then it can make a hard hit so I would not want to be the enemy!!! There today there is only about 1000 stergons left. the movy also talked about the pan fish or somethin like that. it was about 65 feet long... there is like non left they havent seen one sense 2003 there proabally gone for ever!!!!!!!!!>!>!>!>!

In China I have learend that you and other people like to be tall so if you are short some go in and have there legs stretched. It is a very painful experence and the patince remain awake during the surgury.
I also learend that pandas eat lots of bamboo some times up to 40 pounds.
The next thing that I learend is that some people at surtain times of the year to gather and watch a title wave.
In baching a giant dust storm coverd alot of land ruening and endangering many people and animals. they have alot of desserts so that means more dust storms and they have more desserts than farm land so they may lose it all.

the first movie i watched was the pattle fish it was kind of sad to see all those fish being killed by boats.the second movie i watched was giant pands. they spend 14 hours a day the rest of the day they sleep.they caught a mother panda in a cave with her cub. they are sooooooo tiny when they are born.they are kept in sesh whan.the third movie i wached was anual wave.the huge wave is like a hurricane.it has caught some people but they haven't died.here comes bone stretching!!

On the videos I have watched today, there were some pretty awesome things. They talked about giant pandas. About how much they eat. If they have babies, they stay with them, without eating for 25 days! I thought they would die. Chinese people are putting them in zoos because of poachers. Giant pandas are very rare to have.

The rest of the time they are sleeping. mother pandas will spend twenty days cradling her young without food. the next video i watched was the annyal wave. thousands of people come to the hong joe bay to witness the annual wave. every year this river floods and nearly drowns the people. some try to outrun the wave, only to be swept away by the powerful wave. the next video was about the great chinease stergon. this magnificent fish can grow up to sixteen feet and weigh almost one thousand pounds. this fresh water fish has a very powerful tail. sadly this fish's home is poluted and the fish could be in trouble.there may be less than 1000 adult stergons left in the river.at least 10 stergons are killed every year after being hit by boat propellers. this poor fish has no spawning ground in the yangzte river. but for the paddle fish it is too late. they can be over 20 feet long and weigh over half a ton. no paddle fish has been seen since 2003.

THE GRATE PANDA WAS COOL.BEACAUS IT TOLD YOU HOW MANY DAYS THAT THE MOM HAD TO STAY HOME. There was about 3 thousand tons of brown dirt floating around. Now china has 2 and a half times more desert than farm land. Later on africa lost more than 15 thousand square miles of forest alone. On October 27th 2006 a huge wild fire explodes killing 5 fire fighters in southern Californai. This year more than 14 thousand square miles went up in smoke. The stergent fish can grow up to 16 feet and weigh up to 1,000 pounds. In china every year there is an anual title wave. The wall of water is over 9 feet tall. The wall will move quickly without very much notice. The water is like a locomotive and it sweeps people away emediatly. the water sweeps at least 30 people away. Bone Stretching!
In China people want to taller, so they srtetch their bones! Not really; but they are having surgury to lengthen their legs. The bones have to have to have chunks taken out of them.Next the docter place braces so that the bones have plenty of room to grow. Doing this makes them taller by about 3-4 in.
Terracotta Warriors
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... No, just kidding; but I have just watched a movie of some terracotta (clay) warriors that are a very, very old. They were created to gaurd the Chinese emporer Chin-Chin-Wan. There are thousands of clay soldiers guarding the bodie of a chines emporer, waiting to be taken to the afterlife. Chin-Chin-Wan was the first was chinese emporer of China, so these are really old! As I said, they were made to gaurd him during the afterlife.
the movies i watched was terracotta, annual wave, and pandas hungry as bamboo bloo. the terracotta one was cool because the army was built for a king and the army was huge and made out of metal i think. the annual wave one was cool because the wave comes every year and is as big as 9ft. tall. sometimes it can sweep a man away. it moves as fast as a train. the panda one was sad because the pandas are being foresd to move east because the bambo is going through its dying stage. they cant go east because of the people.
pandabear are deiding becaues they have stop eating. panda bear's are cute. they live in a 60 year cycle.
Mama panda bears stop eting for 25 days. When their baby panda is born they are pink. They grow up to be black and white.
