The purpose of this assignment is to understand the impact that America has had on the world's development.
The more media that the students use to represent their war the better their grade will be.
Examples of media- movies, speeches, newspapers, books, TV, radio, artifacts, interviews, internet, pictures, music. . . . .
They can choose to do a paper, poster, powerpoint, 3-d project or ALL of THEM!

I did my picture assignment on postcards.Here are som similarities and some differences.
Differences:
The postcard from WWI were sad and gloomy. They showed death and peril. The ones from here are really happy and cheerful. another difference is there is words on the postcard from our time, but not on the one from WWI. There is color on our postcard, but there is none on the one from WWI.
The similarities are:
They both hve pictures on them. They also both are writable. They both are made of paper. They both have people on them.

difference in the troops in 1911than in 2008. In 1911 they looked happy and in 2008 they dont. Also they look much younger then they look now. In 1911 the people didn't wear camoflage they wore brown coats. they had more advanced guns.didnt carry bags of equiment. they also had weird hats.wore white shirts underneath.the trops had less commucation.They are the same because they both had guns.They had somthing to protect there heads. they both went to war. they had uniforms. they are both young.wore hat. caried there own things. the communicated. had a general. were a team.
The difference in a female Soldier in WW1 from 2008. In WW1 they had to wear differnt hats then we do now.In 2008 the had to wear more things on their back then they did in ww1. 2008 has different guns then they did in ww1. The girls in ww1 couldnt show their hair so the had it pulled into the hat and in 2008 we just have them in Poney Tails. They had differnt Uniforms in ww1 then we do now. The Same is the both are girls. They both are in the wars. They both have guns. And they both have uniforms.
HI!!!☺I picked the poison gas pictures, and then I picked the picture with the man in the mask. After I looked at that picture, I found a picture of a modern gas mask and compared them.

The pictures that I chose to do are on Nurses now and Nurses during the "First World War."
1)The nurses in WWI didn't carry some of their equipment around with them.
2)They didn't have very much training in nursing.
3) There were a lot more nurses in one room at a time then there are now.
4)The hospitals didn't have as good as medication.
4)The nurses wore bigger and heavier clothes.
5)The nurses wore a picture of a red cross on there clothes.
6) The Nurses had to wear big hats.
7) The hospitals in WWI were small and packed.

In 1911 the troops had less equiment to carry around,no camoflage,and nothing to protect themselves.They wore hats instead of helmets and no sunglasses.1911 they didn't carry a back pack and wore long brown coats.1911 troops didn't carry any communication and no pockets to carry other things. 1911 troops had less uniforms on them.
