Did you know that in the southern hemisphere- during Christmas- it is hot??? Bbq, beaches, swimsuits!
Earth has the four seasons because of the tilt of the axis is at 23.5 degrees. In other terms- Earth sits on it's side while it spins through the cosmos.
The Suns light hits the Earth directly and indirectly- warming some spots more than others....
Because of this tilt- hoildays around the world look and feel different everywhere.
Culture is directly affected becuase of space...WOW!

My county is canada it is in the northern part of the world. So it is much colder than astralia .And guess what there santa wears a speedo!But mine wears a hat and gloves. So when it's summer here it's winter there. It's cool were just the opist from astralia.It's cool science!!!
The earth has seasons becase of the earths angle. So its hotter in the southern hemspere cause they get hit with more sunlight. And colder in northen hemsphere. Theere are Four seasons. THey are caused by earths tilt. the angle is 23.5 degrees. So swizland is not as hot.
Why do we have seasons. Because the earth doesnt rotate straight up and down it is tilting. That makes one part of the earth have more sun. Like in brazil it would be summer there when it is winter here. The earth tilts at a 23.5 angle wich makes one part of the earth more visible to the sun. In the winter time in the southern part of the earth it is very warm in the winter. And in some places it doesnt even snow. So that is how we get our seasons
I learned that while we have summer the southern hemisphere has winter. Also the axis has affect on the seasons. I also learned that Somalia is in the northern hemisphere. The axis can affect cultures. The earths rotation causes the seasons to change (the weather warmer or colder). I think that the southern hemisphere is mean, because they celebrate Christmas in swimming suits. That is what i learned and think.
They country that I'm doing is Switzerland, so that's in the Northern Hemisphere. Their Santa probably wears a long sleeve shirt in the winter with long pants. And shorts and a t-shirt in the summer.
The seasons are different on the north and south hemisphere because when the sun is shinning on the south hemisphere it's summer there and winter in the northern hemisphere. In spring in the northern hemisphere it;s fall in the southern hemisphere. When it's fall in the northern hemisphere it's spring in the southern hemisphere. So when the earth tilts the seasons are just the opposite.
I think Santa in a speedo is a crazy thought. Because people in the southern hemisphere think Santa wears a speedo. Because in the winter time the southern hemisphere is still pretty hot! Because the earth is on a tilt. So the sun is almost always hitting the southern hemisphere. So probably all of the northern and southern hemispheres cultures and holidays are different. As you can see, because Santa wears a speedo.
Today I learnd how the tilt of the earth efects the cultures of the world. If it is hot then you are going to have different culters as if it is cold or vise versa. Like some of the southern hemisperes have santa dress in a speedo. I think that it would be funny to see santa in a speedo because he is this older kinda chubby guy.But I do beleive he does were a speedo because in the Southern hemispere December is cold. It would also be kinda wierd to see santa in a speedo because I am used to seeing santa in a coat, hat, and snow boots. But if someone from a place that santa weres a speedo and they saw our santa they would think our santa is weird looking.

In america it could be winter and in brazil it would be summer. The diffrent climates effect the cultures like us in Cache valley celebrate Christmas in snow. Australia would go outside and hang out. It is amazing how the earth is so unique.

When the seasons change the cause of it is because of the earths rotation on the axis. When the seasons change it changes different cultures on this earth.

In the southern hemesfere it is hot in the winter and cold in the Summer so it is probebly getting warmer. it will epect peoples religune because in somalia some groups might like the snow. So in the northern hemesfere they celebrate Cristmas on the beach with shorts. Somalia is getting colder with us.

Why does Santa wear a speedo when it's cold in the northern emesphere but in the southern emesphere.It's different for us because were in the nothern emesphere our country is Mexico that is in the northern part.Also why does the tilt of the earth effect our cultures?like when it's Christmas in the northern part it's summer in the southern part.When their celebrating Christmas in the southern part we are in the summer and I heard that santa rides on a Kangaroo in the southern emesphere but in the northern he has reindeer but we all know that.
My Santa does not wear a speedo because we are in the northern hemisphere and it is so cold in France. I think it is also a weird thinking that Santa wears a speedo. If I were Santa I don't think that I would were a speedo. I don't know why people think that he wheres a speedo because other people don't even think that Santa is not even real. France is a lot hotter than Utah when it is winter so I think that Santa is at least wearing a jacket or a long sleeved shirt. know my teacher is telling me that Santa rides Kangaroos not Reindeer. If I where Santa i would not even ride Reindeer.
Did know that "Santa wears a speedo" in some places. The reason the seasons change is because the earth is tilting on its axis. The seasons are different in various parts in the world. For instance if you live in Utah and it's winter, then summer in Australia. So in Australia santa wears a speedo has a kangaroo pulling his sleigh. The seasons can also affect people's culture. For instance the people in Alaska might dress differently than people in Hawaii. The way the seasons change makes our world the it is.

Today we learned about how sesones change around the sun. Bellow the equaterit is Summer. And above the equater it is Winter. Above the equator is france. But doesn't get much snow. Some cultures don't sellabrate Crismas because it is so hot there! Sometimes santa rides a sled hooked up too Kangaroos!
Today we learned how earth has different seasons because of the tilt of the earth. Every culture has different times determining when they have the four different seasons. For example: in the northern hemisphere when are cultures are in the middle of winter, when in the southern hemisphere those cultures are having summer.The seasons then switch around in the northern and southern hemispheres.The northern hemisphere then has summer when the southern hemisphere is having winter. I can't believe that while we are freezing in the northern hemisphere people and cultures in the southern hemisphere they are having their winter/Christmas on the beach. While they are wearing short shorts,tank tops, and swimming suits! Their Santa is in a speedo with a kangaroo sleigh (instead of in a warm coat, hat, boots,and a reindeer sleigh!)
now i know that the tilt in the earth affects the cultures. the earth is split in half causing the to have a northern hemisphere and a southern hemisphere. in the southern hemisphere instead of December being rather cold its actually its very hot.and the reason i say that is because in the southern hemispheres its the other way around like i said, December is hot instead of cold.did you know that Santa wears a speedo in December? i find that kinda odd don't you? and since its hot Santa doesn't not ride rain deers.kinda cool right.

the earth's axis causes seasons. when it tilts, the southern hemisphere gets more heat. it's summer there. but in the north, it's colder. its winter there. when it revolves around the sun, the sun hits both sides equally. it's spring & autumn on the world. so it's the axis of the earth that makes the seasons change. and mrs. nanna, plaese don't tell us to think of stuff like that again.

My country is France, that means that it is cold during the months of November, December, and January. but that is the opposite for the southern hemisphere. The earth is tilted meaning the the northern and southern hemisphere have opposite seasons. "Hot, hot, hot! Thats what santa would say down in the southern hemisphere because when its christmas down there, temperatures can be a blazing 100 degrees!Unlike other countries above the equator, such as France. My country is China, which is in the Northern Hemisphere. So naturally it's colder than Chile. (which is in the Southern Hemisphere. Santa most likely would be wearing a speedo! I thought it was interesting how Earth gets it's seasons. It's super cool! Personally, I think it's pretty weird while it's winter in Utah, it's summer in Chile! The northern part of the world is called the Northern hemisphere. When it is cold up there it is burning hot in the southern hemisphere. the sothern half is fascing the Sun. In the winter Chili is no close to the Sun. When the Earth obits the Sun the seasons change. It is hot on crismas at Chili. Then it is cold on the 4th of July.
The country my team and I are working on is Italy, which is located in the northern hemisphere. I think it would be really weird to have Christmas in the summer like they do in Argentina, which is in the southern hemisphere. They say Santa wears a speedo down in the southern hemisphere because it's so hot. You know, I really can't picture Santa in a speedo. I think Santa doesn't look right in a speedo but I grew up imagining Santa in a red coat. I wonder if people from the southern hemisphere would think that Santa would look weird in a red coat. If so I'd like to meet someone from there and make a drawing of Santa in a red coat and a speedo. Now that would look fantastic. So since the earth is on a tilt it and it rotates, causes the sun to shine directly on one side of a hemisphere. Which means that when its a cold winter day here its freezing cold in the southern hemisphere. But the earth rotates so it will soon switch.I'm Erin Peterson and my country is Canada.

The earths tilt efects my country because. In Brazil it is hot year round because it is near the equator.So they could go to the beach on New Years or Christmas. The earth's tilt effects Brazil because the sun shines on Brazil all year long. In Brazil on Christmas and New Years you can go to the beach and go surfing if they wanted to because it is warm. It is warm because it is near the equator. Brazil can grow many fruits and vegetables year round which we can enjoy. In Brazil they cannot go snowmobiling or skiing because it is to hot. In Brazil it is very humid and hot because it is a rainforest. Santa would be able to wear a speedo year round in Brazil.

My country is Mexico and it is in the Nouthren Hemphisphere. That means that santa would wear a Speedo. Weired! Just think santa in a speedo.
My country is Mexico so my Santa just wears long sleeves because it is hot but not hot enough for him to wear one. The earths tilt also effects the seasons becuse the earth rotates on its axis so that is what changes the seasons.
