The Geography of Europe

The Peninsula- mild weather: warm air currents
surrounded by H20...tons of seas, rivers, oceans
Ural and Caucasus mountains separate Asia from Europe
                          Europe is 2nd smallest contintent

Rivers Forests and Plains- 1100AD started cutting down trees
Black Forest in Germany still survives
                                            grew-oranges, olives, grapes, wheat
most fertile part is the Northern European Plain
                                            fjords- Scandinavia....Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland

Summary: The geography of Europe is amazing with all it's rivers, mountains, and plains. Rivers are the most important feature because they allow people to grind wheat, travel on them, and fish. The Ural and Caucasus  mountains separate Europe from Asia. Europeans have been cutting down trees for over 2,000 years. They needed more room to build houses and farm land. I would like to visit Europe to see all of the geographic features.
